A film by Marjolaine Grappe
The Only Game in Town
A NEW BATTLEFIELD. A NEW WAY TO FIGHT. A NEW WAY TO FEEL.
The Film
Elfo, an Army recruiter, drives a military gaming truck across America, meeting kids where they already live — online, behind screens, inside games. Jerome and Brentyn are watching from their bedrooms. James, a former drone pilot who can no longer leave his house, retreats into those same virtual spaces to confront the moral weight of a war fought thousands of miles away. As AI threatens to automate the act of killing, the greatest casualty may be our humanity itself.
Our Goal
We need to raise $75,000 to hire our dream editor and finish the film in time to submit for fall festival deadlines (Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca).
